In the name of God Amen, I Lyonell Wynshopp of Welden, yeoman, being sicke in bodie but in pfect rememberance thanks be to God doe make this my last will and testament and in manner and form followinge, first I give and bequeath my soule unto the hands of Almightie God my maker and redeemer and my bodie to be buryed in Ovingham church.
Item, I give unto my oldest sonne Henry Wynshopp all my land and tenenats that I have or doe hold in Aydento him and his heirs for ever. And likewise I give unto my said sonne Henry Wynshopp the one half of all my lands I have in Corbridge to him and his heirs forever and the house and Ensett he now dwell upon.
Item, I doe give unto my sonne Wilm. Wynshopp the other half of all yelandes I hold in Corbridge and the two ensetts of tenants I bought of Wm. Carnabie lying at the west of the bridge borrow in Corbridge, and my will is that my sonne Henry Wynshopp shall help to build them and bears half charges of them.
Item, My will is that my executors hereafter named do pays unto Robert Ward his Xeon which I have in my hands weh is fortie pounds that was given by his father deceased. Also I give unto him fyve pounds for a legacye.
Item, I doe give unto my sonne Anthony Wynshopp his two children XX's apeece.
Item, I doe give unto my daughters Lucy.s four children XX's apiece to be paid unto their mother or to whom she will appointe to helpe to bring them up.
Item, I doe give unto Willm. Dixsoune my daughters sonnes XX.s N.D. That whereas John Addison of Windham standethh joyntlie bounds on Willm. Welden in the soume of sixtie pounds for the payment of XXXL. I doe hereby freelie release and remit and (?) John Addison the said bond and that my executors noeways molest or trouble in the same but I would desire him to doe his endeavour to helpt my executors to it of Willm. Welden if he can.
Item, I doe give the rest of my goods moveables and immoveables unto my two sonnes Willm. Wynshopp and Edward Wynshopp, debts, funeral charges being paid. And for Pformance of this my said will and testament I doe make John Addison of Ingoe (?) supvisor of this my will and to have power to dispose of all things weh my executors doe neglect the same witness hereof I have sette my mke in the prense of John Addison and John Trewson.
