      I am so excited. This is my family. John Robinson was married to Sara Dyon. Sara recieved a small inhertance from her uncle which allowed her to bring all the family to America. She died shortly after arival. John Robinson married the widow next door. Her husband had gone to California for the gold rush and had built and small cabin. He was killed by indians and the family story goes that she convinced John, her husband Eliza the youngest daughter and eventually William the oldest son to come to California where they all lived close together. William had only one leg but lived a long and active life. He used a wheel barrow to keep his balance scaring the kids alot.
