- From "Captain Michale Pierce Including One Line of Descent" Helligso, 1981:
"William Holbrook was b. c. 1560-61. His will is dated 11 Dec 1625 and he d. in Glastonbury Co., Somerset, England, before 21 February 1626. It seems possible that he may have been the son of Thomas and Constan (Thayer) Holbrook who were m. 19 Feb 1560-61 at Thornbury Co., Glocester. Edith Holbrook buried 11 June 1612 may or may not have been the wife of William."
