- From "Christian Gottlieb Dornblaser of Northhampton Co., Pa., ..." David Greene TAG v65:
"William and Henry Dunblazier were illegitimate sons of John Dornblaser by his "reputed" wife," Susanna (Barnet) Yohe. They were given the Barnet surname in early deeds, sometimes with "Donblazer" as an alias. In adulthood they both used "Dunblazier."
William Dunblazier was a tanner. He and his brother had been given land by their mother in Charlestown (now Wellsburg), Brooke Co., just before she married Andrew Lyon or Lawrence .... he sold the land on 14 May 1857.
Shortly thereafter, he and his family moved to Farmer's Twp., Fulton Co., Ill"
