      George Imler, a farmer of Bedford Township, in a Will dated February 23, 1816 and signed with his mark, mentions his wife, Catherine. Also mentioned are his children: Peter, Henry, Catharine, wife of Daniel Croyle; Conrod; Rebeccah, the wife of Peter Dill; Elizabeth, the wife of Peter Imler (George Imler's nephew); Hetty, wife of John Hettzel or (?) Heltzel. Mentions his child, Michael. Mentions his children Jacob, John, and Mary as being in bad health. Mentions the children of his daughter Eve (deceased) - Philip, Mary, and Eve Croyle. Mentions the old mansion house; the houses (numbering two) that John and Jacob live in. Mentioned is a plantation of 300 (patented) acres and 50 acres of mountain timber land which is to be purchased by his two sons, John and Jacob. Mentions 300 acres in Greenfield Twp. where his son, Peter lives and that he wants this same to go to Peter. Also mentions land situate in Ohio, being a tract of land on which his son, Henry lives. The Will mentions this Ohio tract of land to go to the son, Henry. Witnesses were Dr. John Anderson and Joshua M. Espy. Executor was Conrod, his son. A Codicil mentions a sister (name not given), the widow of Henry Sprinkle, is to be buried by the Testator's son, Conrod. Codicil added on May 4, 1816 and witnesses were John Anderson and John Mock. George Imler died before June 29, 1816. The Will was proved on July 03, 1816.
