The agreement of marriage between Thomas Roberts and Mary Robuck both of this parish was published the 27th day of
April & the 4th and 11th days of May: and they were married the 12th day by Sir John Savile
April 1634
Thomas son of John Roberts baptised the 13th day.
Not certain this is the right Thomas Roberts, but there are no others in the record and the Quaker movement was just starting in the 1650s so it's likely
his birth and marriage would be recorded in the parish records, while the birth of his children would be recorded in the Quaker records.
From The Parish Registers of Kirkburton, Co. York With The Appendix of Family ..., "The names of Richard Batty, Thomas Roberts, Thomas Ellis,
John Marsh, Michale Howgate, and Gervase Key, all of Kirkburton parish, have been found amongst those who about this time (1660s) were persecuted
and imprisoned for belonging to the Society of Friends"
