- Not proved that Mary's was the Mary Lawson baptized at Bothertoft, but:
1. Bothertoft and Sibsey are basically adjacent parishes.
2. Mary Lawson's mother was in Bothertoft beyond 1777 (maried to Richard Brown)
3. The burial record of Mary Dion in 1817 age 60 puts her birth around 1757 which works with the baptism of Mary Lawson of Bothertoft
4. No other nearby Mary Lawsons were found of the right age, and there are no other Mary Lawson marriages.
