"John Dornblaser's known children were by his "reputed" wife," Susanna (Barnet) Yohe, dau of Henry Barnet of Easton, Pa., and wife of Jacob Yohe. After John Dornblaser's death, she married in Brooke Co., on 26 Sept. 1809 Andrew Lyon or Lawrence, he died before 27 Oct. 1817, when Susanna Lawrence, widow, purchased land. She was still living on 17 Aug., 1840, when she executed a deed.
John Dornblaser, under various spellings of his surname, purchased land in Easton in 1793 and entered into several land agreements with [his father-in-law] Peter Seip. In two of the deeds, he is called a tailor. John was enumerated in the 1798 federal direct tax in both Plainfield Twp., and Easton, Northhampton Co. In the 1800 censes, he was head of household in Plainfield Twp. (p. 606)
At about this time, John began an affair with Susanna (Barnet), wife of Jacob Yohe, and their first child was b. in May 1801. His property in Plainfield Twp. was sold by the sheriff on 12 Aug. 1801 and by that time they had left the county. His father-in-law Peter Seip purchased the land, and John's estranged wife, Mary Margaret (Seip), apparently lived with her parents until her second marriage on 1810."
